ARCHITECT: MILES ROMNEY (1876)
The Mormon/Seventh Day Adventice Tabernacle, completed in 1871, is located in the central area of "downtown" of St. George.
Volunteers who visit from other areas on a "mission" lead free tours of the interior of the Tabernacle.
Unlike the Temple, visitors are aloud in the Tabernacle.
The Tabernacle features some very simple, clean, and beautiful design features including some very nice stained pine woodwork.
We had a tour by Elder May who was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
